my dad says 'you can bend them, we have them at work and they're tied up into knots and things'

i object, you so cant bend them, and you certainly cannot tie fibre optics into knots. who is your father and why can he alter the laws of photonics?

There are two things wrong with your arguement Nick.

1)You can bend fibre optic cables.

And more importantly:
2)You are argueing with Robbo. WTF were you thinking?! Robbo can prove anything, even if he has to break the laws of physics to do so. Not that he has to in this case.
