I just wanted to say 'HI'!

I hope your holiday was nice, and I hope you are enduring all that cold weather I have heard you are getting!

I'm so glad I was able to meet you, a fellow lover of theater! Tavaszébredés is AMAZING! I don't even think saying it's amazing is enough!

I am glad your brother enjoyed it, though how could he not?!

This semester I am studying Hungarian, so I will have to come back to Budapest just so I can see it again and actually understand the words! Amazing either way!

I hope that your new semester goes well!

Take care!

Matt

Hey!
Yeah, the weather is fine, I'm still living.:)
My brother has his quirks, but sometimes he has his moments. However you are absolutely right, how could he not love the play?
Good luck with Hungarian, it's a language with one of the most difficult grammar...And you definitely need to come back!:D

Take care!

Theatre awakens! And Bea the conductor in training. eurocrat_au February 3 2010, 09:09:06 UTC
Good to hear that Steph finally liked the theatre.

It just takes the right play, doesn't it?

And it seems like it was the right play for you, also.

(And it's true that mid-teens is probably the 'least tolerant' time of our lives ... identity formation).

The IT teacher managing the shows ...

Interesting, too, to hear about Bea, and what she is up to.

Dear Adelaide,
I'm glad on Steph's behalf, and yes it IS def. the right play for us...
Well, most teens at least, but I never had any problems with identity formation, neither most of my friends, fortunately, and as I'm quite tolerant for many things I try to educate those I know are not...-if this means anything...

We are very lucky to have Zsu as she gives her heart and soul into thetre (and teaching as well).

I will most certainly look into your works, you grabbed my interest. And why not love theatre?:P

Here is the first chapter of Could be cousin:

Barrage of Stares: a Scribd document

It is about a young woman named Agnetha Lowy, and was written some two years ago.

hello!

this is going to seem like a crazy comment, BUT! i was desperately poking around the internet looking for the hungarian titles of the songs from spring awakening, and i found your journal. if it's not too much trouble, would you mind typing them up for me? it's fine if you can't, i was just wondering.

Sure, it's no trouble at all :)
I don't know all the titles, but here are some:
- Anyám az áldott /mama who bore me
- -II- repríz/mwbm reprise
- Ugyanúgy/All that's known
- Mit rejt sok csúf éj/Apu szeret/the dark I know well
- Odaérsz egyszer talán (I'm not sure about this one)/Touch me
- De nagy gáz az egész/the bitch of living
- Speed/my junk
- A test szava/ the word of your body
- Kék hold/The mirror-blue night
- Baszott világ/totally fucked
- A könny úgy bánt-Zord tél/don't do sadness-blue wind
- A test szava repríz-egy másik randevú/The word of Your body reprise
- tova tűnt, tova szállt (or: köddé vált)/left behind
- Ezer árny/Whispering
- Bibor csoda/ the song of purple summer

They are not all of the songs as I couldn't find them online and the new theatre version gave them titles based on the dramatic situations...
I hope I could help :)

Take care!
