Another reason why Blade I is better than Blade II:
Stephen Dorff is a hottie.

Blade I was definitely more badass, but Blade II had some classic action movie silliness moments, which added highly to the entertainment value.

I'm not qualified to pass judgement on Stephen Dorff as a "hottie" but he was definitely prettier than reaper guy. His whole homeless meets recovering brain tumor patient look just didn't fly.

My vote for Blade hottie goes to Nyssa (Leonor Valera). She out-hottied all the chicks from the first Blade: Karen (the hematologist), Blade's mom, Mercury (the skinny chick in white) and Traci Lords! And she did it without showing any cleavage or leg. Just some leather gear and the occasional pout.
