Damnit, they've taken out the Christopher Lee scenes from Return of the King - unforgivable!!! The rest of the film had better make up for that ...

If it makes it any better, it was a decision by The Creator Himself (Mr. Jackson) to do it, regrettably, because it broke the narrative flow for the ordinary, non-Tolkien-versed audiences. Alas, the sacrifices that must be made for the Masses...

I don't usually think bad things about any film before I go and see it, and rarely afterwards, but I'm really hoping there is no problem with this one. :)

Still, can't remember too much of The Return of the King. Seems to be mainly Gondor under attack and lots of treking in marshes, so I won't be disappointed probably. ;)

*serious poke* Mr. Gaidin? Do you need to reread Elyas' comments about not wanting to meet his Aes Sedai because the sisters are never kind to a defected Warder?

Still thinking of the best way to embroider that wolfhead for you. I might get hold of one of those JPEG-to-needlepoint color digitizer programs...

Of course you are. There has been no releasing from the Bond on my side... *grin*

(But seriously, I'm very happy to hear from you, Pete. I was desperate enough to try to get to the BT directory assitance, on a day when the BT website was for some reason down, only to find out that my phone card considers the six-digit directory assitance number plus the two-digit country code an "invalid number". I almost e-mailed cerebrate to beg, then decided to give you a few more days to show that you aren't, in fact, dead or something.)
