Pretty flowers

Another blog post showed a friend's skill with close-up digital photos of flowers. This reminded my of my recent holiday to Cornwall where I had mixed success with the same. Here we go:

2. There's a saying in Turkish: "The tool works, the hand brags," it says. Some of my photos are good because I bought a high-optical-zoom camera on purpose. And it's not a wide-angle lens, so doesn't have the problem you seem to have about focusing on things small and close-by. That said, the dreaminess of the white flower up there actually works, and the color spray of the reds are gorgeous.
