About a month ago, I went to the beading store a twon or two over and saw this absolutely amazing looking bracelet and ZOMG I wanted it. Dark sapphire swarovski crystals flanked by these blue beads. Gorgeous. And it wasn't *that* expensive...like 40 bucks. But I held off on it, especially when I found out they offer a class to teach this particular

Also, Fire Mountain for your Swarovski needs. They enable my addiction very nicely. ;D

Just as a random example, I'm looking at a package of 24 6mm bicones in Crystal AB; even at the highest price point they work out to .14 per. I think the wacky finishes and certain colors are bit higher, but it still beats .35 per bead. >_<

Yeah, I can't do HTML after a day of work then 3 hours trying to count and focus on tinnnnny 15 size miyuki beads. *dead*

And yes, I'm aware of firemountain. XP I got distracted by ebay. 144 4mm Light sapphire for 8 bucks. >.> We'll see if I can win that one. I'm supposed to be getting purple but that's just a nice price. Auntie's beads isn't too bad. They come out to be about 8 cents a bead for the 4mm. I'll check out FM. My paycheck this week was teh suck majorly because I missed a day for New years and cut out a few hours early on Weds. So bleh. With the 100 bucks I gotta shell out for blood tests on Thursday, I'm pretty strapped this week. *wrinkles nose* Mom's B-day isn't till thr 20th. Even if I don't get the material in in time I can always run out to the bead shop and just get price-gouged but have 'em on hand. They're nice old ladies but yeah....I won't be buying much in the way of crystals there.

*nods* And last night I whipped up one using roundblue goldstone instead of the crystals. I'll take pics in a bit. Just go back from san aontio. *clings to bed* No more traffic. Gaaaah.

And of course, Jazz, that wouldn't have anything to do with the 'Raj-inspired colors at all. XP

Stopped by another beading store and they had more reasonably priced crystals. I got 100 4mm for 9 bucks. Which ain't too shabby. Their 6mm was like 17 for 100 which is meh. I'll prolly go to FM for my 6mm bulk crystals. The 4mm still came out cheaper than FM when you consider shipping and handling charges, Picked up some emerald green 4mms. Dunno what I'm gonna do with them yet. I just needed 40 to finish out my 100 4mms. XP I need another box! GAH.
