Letter from the FBI (Yes.....THE FBI)
I get home, open my mailbox, and there it is. A letter from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It seems my name has been ". . . referred to the FBI's Victim Assistance Program as being the victim of a federal crime." What? I tried contacting the Victim Specialist, but she was out on Bureau. I did find a "Call Center" number and called. The case has to do with investments and fraud. I think I know what it might be. I invested in a faire related business several years ago, and the guy disappeared. The owner, (who will remain nameless until I substantiate my suspicion) may be getting his just desserts!
