Channel 2 News Story about the group with which I am traveling
Interfaith Partnership of St. Louis will be featured in a news story on Channel 2 this coming Monday. It is too bad I'll be in Israel, so I won't be able to see it. But, I thought I'd provide the information for anyone who would care to. The news story will aired on the Monday July 23rd at 5:00 and 9:00 PM. -

Letter from the FBI (Yes.....THE FBI)
I get home, open my mailbox, and there it is. A letter from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It seems my name has been ". . . referred to the FBI's Victim Assistance Program as being the victim of a federal crime." What? I tried contacting the Victim Specialist, but she was out on Bureau. Props, costuming ideas
OK. I'm looking for some help from some thespians. I need to find a light color sweater vest, a mail pouch, a bell for the trolley, and a hat (for the mailman and motorman parts. It'd be a cylindrical hat with a bill, similar to a ball cap, but the hat itself is a flat-topped cylinder, not rounded.), and a bowtie. I'm sure I'll eventually find ( Read more... ) -

Well, since the last time I posted, I've got my passport! (Major accomplishment that, with the delays) and travel insurance. Well, travel medical anyway. Honey can be fun.......
just not on the mat in the back seat of my car. I bought a gallon of the sticky stuff from my favorite honey booth at the St. Louis Renaissance Faire to make a 5 gallon batch of mead. The jug tipped over on the way home. The lid did not keep it from leaking out. I lost a few ounces of the stuff and I'll need to buy a set of mats for the back ( Read more... )
