Is Kathryn Janeway "A Woman in a Refrigerator"

During my research for the Bring Back Janeway Campaign, I discovered an interesting thing. It's called "Women in Refrigerators Syndrome" and it fit the condition of Kathryn Janeway and her condition in Trek Literature and Pocket Books.

I think the WIF syndrome perfectly describes the character's fate. It's a good description but it makes me a bit uncomfortable (which is probably the intention).
