Back from Brushwood - the change I wish to be

Jul 30, 2009 09:52

Several days ago actually. I've been decompressing. I want to capture the transformations of the experience in the hope that I will be able to hold on to them.

Yeah, Brushwood was transformative. I didn't expect it to be, but it was. )

You write so beautifully!

I also enjoyed spending time with you and getting to know you a little better. And yes, Harry Potter was fun and a much-needed break from the rain and muck.

I hear you about not wanting a 24/7 pager and not wanting to work 72 hrs in a row. That is the main reason I am now mostly retired! No matter how exciting and fulfilling the work, those kind of circumstances tend to wear you down after awhile.

Also, I have found that when things start to look bad something always happens to make them better, be it a job situation, living arrangements or finances. I just need to remember that and not worry so much! Glad that things are turning around for you--hold onto this feeling!

For you. For me. For all of us. Money comes. Money goes. That is the nature of money.

Dude - you have to send me your chicken recipe. My marriage depends on it.

This is good for me to read right now. I am doing the corporate whore thing right now, and I don't much like it. However, I'm doing it to get myself out of debt so that I have more options about how I want to live. Still, the money is alluring, and sometimes I wonder. Good to remember that it's all about the joy. Thanks.

And I won't lie: the thought of your ample bosoms corralled in a tight bodice is, um, very nice.

I'm so glad you came, even though we didn't get to hang out all that much.

Brushwood has that effect on people. I almost always leave with a feeling of energy, that it's time to get things done, even when I don't do all that much when I'm there. It's a catalyst. :)

I want to make major bucks running multiple businesses, and hire you to do something.
