The cliques of THEM are a blessing and a curse. With so many people it's impossible to be close to everyone; the cliques allow one to focus one's attention and energy on a smaller group, and feel like more of a member, than being just one person lost in such a large crowd of mostly unfamiliar people. But it keeps some people apart; there's more than one person I wish I spent more time with and reconviene and such, but it never seems to happen
