Bonjour me hearties innit, i haven't posted in ages because, well i suck! Well that and also i had a load of time off work sick, and i thought, this is fucking ridiculous and i should just take some annual leave, because that's what it's there for - to get a rest and hopefully not have to take time off sick - and as i'm always whingeing, i don't ( Read more... )

Heh, you should set one up in Sheffield! There are obviously enough people in Sheffield interested enough to actually do some stuff - like Matilda (any news on a possible successor?) but i think people need a kick up the arse to just get started. So maybe you could start up a radical footie team and get the ball rolling. Oh, just noticed that crap pun.

You know, it's a good job you said this, as it didn't occur to me that some routes might actually be shut! Of course, as some of them go through national parks and that, it might not be possible to walk them. Or accommodation on the way might not be available at certain times of the year. Do you mean a specific south west coast walk? The one i was thinking of was the coast-to-coast one from St. Bees to Robin Hood's Bay, as it seems to be one of the shorter ones, and i've not done a 'proper' walking holoday before.

Hey lady, have screened this comment to keep yr phone number safe, and yes i'll text soon. Or will you mind a call? I know talking on the phone is horrid and daunting so i'll quite understand if you prefer a text...

Also, if you can get to e-mail, please can you send me yr postal address if you don't mind me having it? I've still got a couple of things to post to you, plus i could send you details of walking holiday by letter rather than attempting to squeeze it into a 160-character text.

Hoorah, let's sort out footie, though yr the only person in London who's expressed an interest so far... But we can ask people IN REAL LIFE and also on LJ again. Any suggestions as to where? I thought maybe (or maybe not) St. James's Park - cos it's rite central, but not many nice pubs nor nice places to hide if it pisses it down with rain. Any better ideas? Hyde or Regent's maybe, but less easy to find people in perhaps... there must be several...

The choir is called Raised Voices and it's a sort of anarchist radical choir, where you don't have to be able to sing... it's about expression rather than ability. That's the immpression i get from the web-site - i've yet to go along. They sing at political events etc. and go drinking after. Sounds ace! I didn't go yesterday cos i SUCK and can't go next Thursday cos have lovely people visiting, but if you want to come along the following Thursday, maybe we could go together, plus a (non-LJ) mate of mine who wants to come...
