I like this. Edward, or Ward, is acting so true to type. He's an abandoned pet who wants to get back home. I have a bad feeling it's going to get worse for him until he figures out how to survive, or meets someone who helps him.

Is he going to meet any predators? It seems like the park, usually having no Elrics, wouldn't have Mustangs, Greeds, or other natural predators, either.

Also, I just realized we've not seen Ward use his alchemy yet. I was thrown a little off balance when he wasn't using it to make new "footwraps" or improve his appearance, maybe he's just never needed to? The other pet Elrics I've read about don't seem to be as connected to it as wild Elrics, certainly. It seems likely that it would come out if he was threatened, though.

I believe all of your questions should be answered by Chapter Three and Four, although you've also given me something to think about and tweak a little as I may not be clear in the later chapters. :)
