Ward was pleased. He was onto his fourth day of rabbit. The small, crispy and once furry animals were surprisingly filling and he had spent most of his time lazing around his den and clearing in a good mood. He’d even had a couple of goes at refining his tree climbing skills and was quiet pleased with himself. The Elric had managed to get quite ( Read more... )

Ooh, this just keeps getting better!

2 notes: He was not a lost cause at all, the alchemy is probably in him somewhere. Tenses don't match: "was" vs. "is".

What was it with Fons and the constant groomings and touchings and…maker of awkward of feelings. There's an extra "of" in there, but maybe whole last bit should be "...making Ward feel awkward feelings." to better match the rest of the sentence.

This chapter pleased me so much. Alchemy at last! It makes a lot of sense, but at the same time it's so sad/strange that Ward's not learned how simply because no-one ever taught him. I'm eagerly anticipating what he's going to do with it. He seems rather determined to impress Fons. It's lovely how Edward is adjusting (slowly) to life in the wild. I hope he makes it ( ... )

I can't believe I made the bought/brought mistake again! Thanks for noticing that! (oh that's embarrassing!)

Fix'd times 3.

Re: helplessness. In retrospect, Ward feels uncomfortable about how easily he submitted to "sooo nice", but he concedes it may have been worth it :P

Re: rejection. I probably didn't phrase that too well D: The main idea was that while Fons appreciates the chance of a mate - he may choose to not court Ward if he finds him a bad mate.

I'm glad he comes across as Alfons-like :D I'm actually writing that ?style? of personality from memory. I really should re-watch Shambala :D

You're not overloading me at all! I appreciate every single review/comment/you got those words wrong :D I'm pretty proud that I've actually stuck with it, I normally flail away from committing to projects - especially long term ones.

I'm off to bed too now, good night! Thanks for all the awesome help.
