Desmond got shot and could have died - oddly enough, Eloise Hawking showed up at the hospital.  Daniel Faraday got shot by Eloise Hawking, his mother, and is presumably dead.

Omg I love it. Lost is all I think about like, ever. I don't know if you've read any of the stuff on ew.com, but their Lost recaps and theories are amazing. If you're anything like me, get ready to read every recap/article on there and eventually have your brain explode. So many mysteries!
