Looking forward to seeing the rest of this. Heh. Was the zombie bit at the beginning an in-joke referencing all that "zombie Hei" talk from a while back? :) I like the style and feel of this 'fic a lot. It has a good tone to it, very somber and serious, but with an undercurrent of hope. I feel sorry for poor Hei.
