pandora is mystifying.

maybe i'm not treating it right but the recommendations it's making are BIZARRE. is anyone else having this kind of problem? maybe it's cause i'm trying to separate stations by genre, but when you put in "ghostface" and "lil wayne" and it gives you fila brazilia it's like wtf? or when you're like "i like kanye west and timbaland" and they're ( Read more... )

I kinda always get the feeling Pandora is trying to sell me bad music or is cataloging my music tastes to sell to someone else.

Could just be me though.

I am in no way responding to this post, as I don't use Pandora, nor have I ever.

I am, however, asking you what you're doing on Saturday. Because we should party, as there is one going on at my house. So you will be there.

Also, what are you doing March 11th? What's that? Seeing Electric Six live with me? In SF? Wow, sounds great. We need to get tickets soon.

i've been liking Pandora. but i usually don't try to combine artists into a station. i just set it at, say, belle & sebastian and let it do its work. i have to skip some tracks, but overall i've been pleased.
maybe it doesn't have as developed a hip-hop/rap library?
