Dear Yuletide author,
I assume that if you are not someone who usually reads my lj, then there is a high probability that you have come here to get a better idea of what to write me.
So, I’m Elscy. I’m a twenty-something masters student in medical humanities and bioethics. If you can’t come up with something just write me a medical situation or an ethical dilemma. The one caveat I have about this is that medical situations are taken seriously. They can’t be a joke or a curse.
Other than that I promise I’m easy going. You can write me complete and total crack or a deep intellectual discussion and I’d LOVE them both equally. Got it. Really don’t stress. Just the fact that you’re writing something is amazing.
Further, I believe in true loves, but love does not necessarily equal sex to me. If you want to write pwp, go ahead, but don’t feel pressured to include any sex. Pairing to me can be complete partnerships without a drop of sex and romance.
Okay, so here we go with the fandoms.
Valdemar Series - Mercedes Lackey
Darkwind and Elspeth
I love these two, and I’d love to see them play with their cultural differences.
Twelve Houses - Sharon Shinn
Donnal, Kirra, Senneth, and Tayse
These books are amazing, and their characters are rich and wonderful. I love the pairings as cannon, but there are these amazing class differences between these two sets. That said, the group as a whole is dynamic and amazing. No romance necessary if you don’t want to.
Crown Duel - Sherwood Smith
Mel/Vidanric
Okay, I know it says Crown Duel, but I’m really a huge fan of the Court Duel half. There is something about the court politics combined with the letter courtship that is brilliant in my opinion.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
Danny, Jordan, Matt, Harriet
I’ve been a fan of S60, since it was on tv. I know bits of the show were rushed, so it would be awesome if you could slow things down or write about post show.
Again, I’m sure whatever you come up with will be amazing.
