If in the early- to mid-21st century we get one of those Superpower Generation Events, Madagascar is going to get shafted by all the people with plague powers. And it will take the journos weeks to understand why.

Shortly afterwards, the teleporters will be seen importing the world's entire tiger population to Kenya.
