Static electricity

I don't know what it is about this winter, but everything is significantly more staticky than I'm used to it being, including in the winter. It's bad enough when my clothes stick to me and my blankets give me shocks, but when my hair reaches for everything I pass by and sometimes looks like I just stuck my hand in a socket, I get *very* unhappy. *

It's definitely not hentai...*LOL* I rather enjoy it. Enjoyed it more the second time around, though...the first time I found parts of it very flat, but I appreciated it more this time.

Exactly! Me too...I usually take pride in never skipping class...frankly, I don't even ever *want* to skip class, as it's difficult enough making up for the classes where I'm sick...but when I do, it's always to do some extra buffing up on my studies for an upcoming test. ^^;;;

We've been extra-staticky this year too. I'm guessing maybe it's dryer this year than usual? My hands have been drying out this winter, and I don't think they usually do.
My girlfriend and I keep shocking each other... we've learned to touch arms before we kiss now. lol (a shock on the lips actually hurts!)

Funny thing is, my hands do usually dry out and crack and bleed, but this year they haven't. O_o That's why I wasn't sure if it was dryness...maybe it is and it's just that my hands are healthier this year. That'd be nice. *LOL*

Oddly, I have the same problem with static for some reason. I am a mutant, and my mutant power is to control STATIC ELECTRICITY!!!
