So tell me, where's a good place to get Hong Kong DVD sets online these days?
(If you're curious, I'm asking because I'm thinking of series which haven't been fansubbed, which are licensed here in North America but only released DUBBED, which receives a hearty "no thanks" from me.)
anime,

It used to be that there were a lot of online stores that sold Hong Kong sets, but since then licensers have cracked down on bootleg products...and more power to them, but in the case of series such as these where the licensers haven't produced hybrid DVDs, it's inconvenient to a dub-hater such as myself. ;P So I was basically just writing to ask if anyone here knew if any such online stores still sold HK stuff.

What series? Some of us might have downloaded fansubs before it got lisenced in the US and butchered.

You wouldn't have this series. ^^; I'm looking for Beyblade. ;P
Also Karakuri Zoushi Ayatsuri Sakon (which is unlicensed here, but the fansubbers have only done up to episode eleven and it doesn't look like they'll ever finish, as it's been years), and possibly Yuugiou, another one where the domestic DVDs are dub-only and the fansubbers are taking years.

Aaah, see yea, I got confused. I knew one of those two had HK stuff, but I guess I got them confused. Or I thought they both did. Or something. I know I've heard people complain about both...

Except that their shipping is really slow...but considering I only pay five bucks for it (which is better than most places here in Canada will even ship for), I consider that an okay compromise. ;P
