Oh that was powerful. Poor Nate, you wanted to feel so bad for him but at the same time throttle him for being a completely idiot. Love the realism and all the emotions you are putting into this story. It's perfect. I don't know which part I loved more: where Nate finally broke down or the Eliot and Sophie bit. It's about time somebody told her she needed to back off with the advances. Nate's not an idiot and if the poor man hasn't gotten the hint by now it's because he doesn't want to see it or he is tactfully ignoring it.
Haha, the end was perfect and the best part is I can visualize all of this in episode mode so it would fit into the actual story arcs almost seamlessly for Season 1.
The raw emotion you use is just so beautiful and the honesty in their characters. I know for one I have a habit of trying to make the characters too nice but you seem to have achieved a perfect balance to keep them as realistic characters
