Update, and some pics of my trip to Shanghai
so what i've been doing...if anyone's interested...or just skip to the pics part :p

First, I finally got enough courage to apply for a Technical Advisor role.
I messed up the written test but somehow got into the interview stage. Guess others didn't do too well on the test too...
And they scheduled the interview on the day I arrived the States for Dallascon O_o
Anyway, I didn't get the permanent TA role but managed to get a temp one. My boss wants me to start ASAP, like, he announced the results on Friday and wants me to start on Monday.
But I still got my hands full with lots of my own work which was not transferable.
And our office was going to get renovation so everyday I had to pack
And I was planning to go to Shanghai (about 5 hours high speed training from Beijing) that weekend!
So I've been really, reeeaaaally busy this week. REALLY busy. I didn't even have the time to have lunch QAQ
I guess I will busy like this for the next few months until my temp position is terminated _(:3」∠)_
But the good thing is the Shanghai trip was great! I got to try the high speed train, 300km is awesome! And the train is so different from what I remembered, big space and very comfy! Much better than plane, I can actually sleep for a few hours! And no delay!
Also visited some very beautiful places of Shanghai, love the nightscape of the Oriental Pearl tower and Yuyuan Garden. Here are some pics:
