I'm sure they wouldn't have given you the position if they didn't think you were up to it - don't worry you will be great! And don't be afraid to use your team's maths skills - play to your strengths and let them play to theirs, it's what teamwork is all about!

Nerves are understandable--but you wouldn't have gotten the promotion if the bosses didn't think you could do it--so you go, girl!

Internal promotion means they already sure you fit the position. The one thing you need to worry is busier schedule...more difficult to arrange conventions?
