I love how Annie subtly convinced Jeff it was time to tell his mom the truth, and how both women slid into an easy relationship. This was a great way for Annie to spend her b-day (considering she wasn't going to do anything).

Seriously, though, I think this is my favourite of the batch, it's just so hopeful and clearly plants seeds of progression in their relationship and all the significant looks are just...gah and the ending feels like lifting of weight off the chest, and I just love them so much ♥
Jeff totally needs for someone to believe in him, he's so deeply insecure under all this too-cool-to-care persona as it turns out, and Annie is the best and I loove this fic<3
