Title: 5 Times You Were Dropped Into A Jeff/Annie Fic (And Then Yanked Back Out) Word Count: 4176 Rating: M Disclaimer: Don't Own Any Of This Warnings: Multiple POV, Language, Smut
That last one--how can you leave it there?!? You. Are. Evil! Why is Annie in a bathrobe? Why is her hair wet? Why is Jeff holding overly large sweats?
I need to know the answers to these questions! But mostly, I need more fic because of this:
“Do you remember what it was like to want so desperately for someone to like you?” I ask and I can’t make myself look away from him now. His eyes slide down to me and his gaze is knowing, but not in a patronizing way. I shrug again as I look down at the ground. “It’s just nice to know that there is a version of you in there somewhere that would maybe give us a chance.”
“As far as a Greendale homecoming dances go, this one wasn’t bad.” He is glancing up at the stars now, compartmentalizing himself into a dozen pieces again. We move forward in silence. “Annie?” I look up at him and he lets his eyes fall on me for a second before they return to the sky. “That version of me inside somewhere? Would follow you around like a puppy.”
This part is especially amazing and beautifully written.
Loved the idea of this! And each mini-fic works in its own incomplete way - I'm impressed. I'm deeply disturbed by the idea of Jeff hitting on Annie's mom, but love the explanation he gave.
Like... as tall as Joel is multiplied by his handsomeness and then elevated to how gay I went for Annie during paintball last night doubled by how straight I went for Jeff. <3
And thank you for not mentioning Holloway. I love him, but it's like people are forgetting that Joel is AMAZING and perfect and knows how to grill asparagus.
I... I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't particularily like Josh Holloway... the fact that his hair doesn't match his beard is what keeps me from seeing him as the man of my dreams... I mean, I do understand why people find him attractive, but... yeah... I'm not saying he's ugly or anything, I just never saw LOST.
And yes, Joel is AMAZING and perfect and knows how to grill asparagus AND HOW ADORABLE WAS THAT INTERVIEW!?
I was incredi-stunned at the sex, not because it was sex but because it switched from kind of innocent to whambamthankyoumam and .. UGH IT WAS SOOO GOOOD!
This is a brilliant idea for all the fics that you start and don't finish or can't think of an ending. Not that that's necessarily why you did it, but it's a brilliant idea and may I possibly steal it? Maybe. Seems kind of douchey to steal the idea.
Anyway, lovely fic as usual. You're Jeff/Annie is just awesome-tastic to the nth degree.
