So, as an employee of the Japanese government (foreign or no), all civil servants must take a yearly health check. Prior to the check, we must all fill in a health questionnaire form. So I checked with my supervisor: the 'usual amount' is apparently 4 slices of pickled Japanese radish (one slice is slightly bigger than a £2 coin)!

That's good to know! I would hate to go to Japan and draw attention by eating more than the usual amount of pickles.

Have you ever been told 'Disorder' after taking a chest X-ray exam?
(I just like the way this question was phrased/translated. I have an image of a doctor shouting 'DISORDER!' to the patient after the X-ray is done)
