It seems so strange to see high school kids now! I always feel one of two ways about them:
1. amused, find them endearing in a sort of "Oh, kids!" way
2. filled with rage and/or despair at the state of the world

I found myself doing the "Oh, kids!" thing the other day, too. I'm more amused with high school kids and more annoyed with young college students. There's probably little difference in age, but there's such a difference in attitude. If that makes sense?

Much sense. The "Aww" thing happens much more often with teenagers. They're still so little; I seem to expect less from them and give them more leeway.
