Just be sure to have patience with people at Heathrow. It was only bad for people that freaked out at employees or refused to understand the situation that had a bad time. Let me know if you do somehow pass my time of 3 hours to get through the check in line.

We're actually flying out of Gatwick, which is better in this situation. As far as I can tell, I'm not quite the sort of person to start screaming at security! But if I feel like flipping out, I'll keep that in mind.

Glad you got through the chaos on your way home.

I was wondering how things at Heathrow would be for you two! Jeez, but at least you'll be coming home together, that's very cool.

What awesome pictures! And a fine post by Andy as well!

We're flying out of Gatwick, which is preferable in this situation. It seems that things are clearing up a little bit now, so hopefully we won't have to go through too much extra hassle on Friday. And being together will help. Flying is always a drag, but having someone else to keep you company always makes it feel better.

I've been giggling about your Barnaby Rudge comments for the past few days, actually. I saw a copy of it in Foyles and had a good laugh.

Ah, very good then. After being through Heathrow on the way home, I could only imagine the tangle it became after the news.

And that's sweet! Anytime Dickens crosses my mind, I always think of you. I wonder how heavily featured The Boot was; do you happen to recall?
