Every time I see this being done I try to suss out the directions and end up with my hair hurting. So...no anonymity for me (or reciprocal whatever). I'm just going to say right out loud that you? Are fab for too many reasons to list, but to name a few...

You bring glee to the world even when you yourself feel less than gleeful.

You share Mai stories and archeological discoveries and recipes I will never make but would love to eat.

You forgive me for preferring Diet Coke to tea.

You share bizarre but true news (though I haven't noticed any updates on the giant frog *sigh*).

And though you didn't put your name down, I have to say that I feel so lucky to have found you on LJ - you always have an encouraging word, or an offer to send Macbean along to do serious damage, or some suitably snarky remark or wise words to keep things in perspective. To mention just a few things that make you wonderful...

You're a terrific writer. You make me feel as if I'm right there with you when you write your travelogues, and the accompanying photos are always fabulous, too.

You could be a professional food writer imho, for the way you make your descriptions of meals a genuinely sensuous experience.

- You're a lot of fun to talk to
- You're very creative - no idea is too cracky, no theory too farfetched!
- You're sweet and caring, which counts for a lot
- You're an excellent sounding board who puts up with my weird fic ramblings and helps me work through sticky patches
- You don't get mad at me when I correct your English! (And with that, there goes my anonymity.)
- You actually put thought into your feedback
- It goes without saying that you have great music taste
