I have made a cup of Bigelow Vanilla Caramel tea, which may be the yummiest tea ever, and since this is a party I even put it into a fancy green and gold Japanese cup with a saucer. I've made a sandwich (PB&J, but I cut it into triangles, and my rat got a yummy snack of the crusts), so I am ready to party. :D
Music and literature? We are so high-brow! Thank you for both. (And it's a true fact that any sandwich cut into triangles is instantly suitable for high tea!)
ETA: I have a soft spot for this song; they sing a bit of it in one of the Wodehouse Playhouse skits. ♥
Here is a link to a very interesting essay about tea in literature. I especially like the discussion of Jekyll and Hyde.
And Nat King Cole playing "Tea For Two" ♥
