“Come along inside… We’ll see if tea and buns can make the world a better place.”

Welcome! It's not snowing outside, but neither is it raining, and it's crisp and cold out there, which makes it a perfect time for a tea party. (Although any time is Tea Time, really.)

Alas, until my grades are in I can't try these scrumptious-sounding recipes, or do any fun baking at all! Here is my very low-rent attempt to participate, though.

Delicious Whittard of Chelsea "Afternoon Tea" given to me by meganquinlan, plus box mix coffee cake...

Yes, that's his name! Well, the full version's a little longer. :)

And thanks! Do you mean the last one?

Hee! I love that Bingley made an appearance here. And looks so dignified in doing so!

(I'm not familiar with Whittard of Chelsea, but I love the packaging!)

You're so welcome - the best part about these tea parties is that anyone can pop in, any time!

(And yay! Card! I will have to e-mail you the one I almost went with... Hee.)

Crashing the party with an invite from petzipellepingo. [brings own cup of cocoa, above]

Delighted to find a new way of enjoying a tea party with friends - even if they are new friends.

I appreciate the time it took to write out the recipes, do the poll, and prepare the party. You are a fabulous hostess!

here's a recipe I've made before, quite successfully. If you can imagine, they are "healthy" chocolate cookies. The taste is wonderful.

Thanks for the open invitation. I'm bookmarking this for future reading.

Welcome! I'm so glad you could drop by - and yes, a tea party is such a wonderful thing, isn't it? Thank you for joining us, and with a chocolate cookie recipe, to boot!

I hope that you find some new recipes to try out here, too.

You may also want to check out the Summer tea party, or peruse the links to tea parties past. caerwynx and I feel that Teamas should be a recognized holiday, a chance to everyone to celebrate just how wonderful tea (and tea parties) can be!

Oh, yummy baked goods! I have to think about shoveling snow (again!) but in the meantime: six more tea icons.

Snow! Ours turned to rain in a spectacular way... Thank you for the icons - now that I have all these userpic spaces, this is a fine excuse to add more. Stay warm - and indulge in something festive when you're done shoveling!

I am feeling very disorganized today, so I'll just come back and check things out tomorrow. In the meantime, my stuff is here.

Oh, thank you for this exquisite post of baking goodness! I know what you mean about being disorganized: I've felt three hours ahead of myself and two doors down from my house, as it were, all day!
