There were a few mistakes here and there ("fife" for "five", and "rip" for "rib", for instance), but the idea was beautifully executed and I adored your take on Mycroft and Sherlock's relationship.

If you need someone to edit it, I'd be happy to fix some of the grammatical errors--I would hate to see someone miss this gorgeous piece because of a few minor things.

I really enjoyed this! I do love the interaction between the brothers, and so many things you've inferred are so completely plausable -- Mycroft saving Sherlock's life when he gets himself into slightly too much trouble, getting him to rehab. What a truly insightful story you have here!

I loved the Mycroft/Sherlock dynamics. From a little kid scared of monsters and wants him big brother to get rid of them, to moody teenager and drug addict adult. No wonder Mycroft worries about him constantly. I also loved Mycroft's insight and him admitting that maybe the relationship should be more, but it will never be. Oh and him gently nudging John into becoming Sherlock's friend is very sweet (in a Mycroft way).

Absolutely adored it! I loved the relationship you have between Sherlock and Mycroft. not a bit of it seems out of character, not even for John and NotAnthea's walk-ons.
