Sorry to hear that this is dragging on and on and on. I hope you get to close sooner rather than later. Christmas decorating always lifts my spirits - even if it is just a few touches here and there.

E, I'm so sorry this has dragged on.

I hope everything gets figured out soon. Why does real estate always have to be complicated? I have never heard of anyone who had it go perfectly smoothly.

Thanks guys.

I just talked to my father and he said the good news is that the seller's are dying to move (they're building a pre fab in Kentucky right now and they want to get moved in soon). The bad news is that NOW the trustee is dragging his feet and since there's a 20 day waiting period before the title can change over (or something like that, it has to do with the creditors, but it's a 20 day waiting period for something) there's now no way we can close for the 17th because it's already the third. GRRRR. All the friggin' trustee had to do was electronically file the papers (just a press of a button really) and we would have been set, but he still hasn't done it (he got the papers over a week ago.) The whole thing just makes me want to scream. I'm taking Brian out for dinner tonight.

At least now I know we can decorate for Christmas...
