It's really a good thing I had today to deal with stuff. I spent a few hours trying to get someone to come out to deal with the House 'O Stink, and when I finally got the right contact person I was told that there's no way they could come today because of the weather. I remember your stories about Bonnie. Of course it is entirely terrible that this whole thing but perhaps there will be a silver lining somewhere in the end.

I used to wonder the same thing, and now that I have a child of my own, I feel very vulnerable. If something (God forbid) happened to Caroline, I would just want to die. Literally. I honestly can't imagine being able to pick up and go on.

I don't even have kids yet and even so I can't imagine how someone moves on from a loss like that. I do hope this will be the start of a new chapter for Bonnie and me, life really is too short.
