If you're all actually friends, you should be able to just visibly choose a side on an issue and all remain friends in the end, in fact I might argue thats your moral imperative. Avoid choosing sides in any broad person-vs-person context, as you rapidly become a pawn in my experience. Just my opinion.
i'm definitely a big advocate for "friends in the end". however, i have learned that in this situation that is not possible. thanks for the advice and i definitely agree. i miss your skin sweetheart.
