We have skipped Spring and moved right to Summer here in Toronto. It is an absolutely marvellous 20 degrees celcius with not a cloud in the sky. I am going for a walk downtown to buy books and music.

we got that instant summer effect here too for a few days a week or so ago. now it's snowing. (see the icon for the ultimate opinion on this...)
94?!?! out of what - 100, probably?!! wow, if i may say! you just have the household of genius people! ...and genius kitty and genius puppy, of course.
Snow? OMG. I think we have seen the last of any snow in these parts, but you never know.
And yes, 94 out of 100. Thanks for the complement! When I graduated from high school I think my average was 65. In my undergraduate days at university I think I ended up with 75. Now here I am many years later in a Masters program getting 80s and 90s. It must be duree rubbing off on me.
praise the duree! although i'm sure you have something to do with the fabulous grades yourself, too :) at least you were smart enough to get yourself a duree, right? right!
Good point!! p.s. sun is still shining today but the temperatures are forecasted to drop from 22 to 7 by the end of the week. Maybe there will be snow after all!!
Unfortunately no one in Canada knows how to make snickerdoodles. We are in some respects still a developing country. I will have to settle for honey nut cheerios.
what a pity!! i just sent my first package of cookies to a friend and they got there pretty safely [although it took way more time than i thought], but it was just arizona. i don't know how long it'd take for canada, how much it'd cost, and in what state they'd arrive. but i know nosey's a pro at baking so she can always make you a batch to congratulate you, yes?

And I probably should avoid snickerdoodles unless they are the low-cal broccoli kind!
