Happy New Year!!
Today is Day 4 of the detoxification program that Nosey and I have embarked upon. The major component of this program is NO BREAD for two weeks. Holy moses. This evening I was surprised by joy and mousse. I had gone in to work to help with preparations for our big big Convention next week. When I returned the wonderful sigot greeted me with her latest concoction-- a raspberry mousse. It is to die for!! Trust me on this one. And best of all, it has NO RUM in it ( Read more... )

Took my daughter to the Royal Winter Fair today. It is a wonderful place to be if you love horses and dogs. Returned to find that a miracle had occurred while I was away. There is a loaf of cheesebread at home that was not purchased. It was actually made from scratch by the one and only

Just got back from Hamilton where we got to see Elton for the second night in a row. This concert was even better than last night's. For one thing, the sound at Copps Coliseum was better than what we experienced at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. Secondly, Elton was in fantastic form. I have never heard him sing so well.
