i'm not too impressed by fireworks because... here in montreal, we get the international firework competition every year... so i get to see the best fireworks of each country... It happens twice a week for the whole summer...

Also, the bridge is closed down to vehicles so that people are allowed to walk on it and watch it from there for the best close up view of the fireworks.

So you know... after years of fireworks watching, it doesn't appeal to me much when watching it with families. I guess it would be more fun (and romantic) to watch it with g/f.

I guess i'm taking it for granted or something...

Yes, I'd say you were definately taking it for granted. =p

We only get fireworks twice a year here, new years day and bonfires night, which is November 5th. All other times of the year they're illegal, unless you gain special permission. Novemeber 5th is always magical, seeing as the day after is Utachans birthday, so we always think that the fireworks are going off just for her! You don't need a boyfriend or girlfriend with you to enjoy romantic things. You just need a warm heart! =p ... oh and there's always a funfair and food stalls there too.

The fireworks are set off over the river here too, so no matter where you stand, you get a great view! I've been watching fireworks for at least as long as you have, and I'll never get tired of them! :D
