Ok, so today I had the wonderful experience of having all four of my wisdom teeth out. I originally wanted to be totally unsonscious, but since I completely forgot and ate breakfast, they couldn't give me the iv or whatever. So I ended up being awake but with tons and tons of novacaine. The surgery itself wasn't that bad, but afterwards when it ( Read more... )

I don't think I could ever forget the time in the pool when we made Matt TOTALLY freak out! Ahaha! (Remember: "BOHAHAHA!") And that guy, the one that wouldn't stop looking at me when we were in line for The Mummy ride...FREAKY!!! Anyway, I love you too Kara, my darling elusive brunette #1!

I've done the wisdom teeth thing before. I knew I was in trouble when he said "say Ah" then when I opened my mouth he jammed this rubber stopper in, forcing my mouth into the most uncomfortable position ever. But it shocked me that he tricked me into getting it lodged in there. Then they poke and prod my mouth, deliver enough local anesthetic to bring down a stegasaurus then he begins to prod more vigorously. I'm not sure about you Kara but the video I watched showed them drilling the teeth out, more deception. The key quote was, "You'll feel a little pressure," then he grabs this big rubber pokey device and proceeds to forcibly molest my tooth til it left my mouth. I mean, it didn't hurt from all the painkiller but I could feel part of my body being ripped out of my head. What a weird feeling. I hope it was a little better for you.

Seriously, we've had almost identical wisdom teeth experiences!!! There's a few exceptions though...like I never got to watch the video, so I was expecting a bit of yanking. He also didn't bother to put the plastic thing in my mouth until like half of the surgery was done. It hurt SOOOOO bad!!!!! He probably should have done it earlier though because when I had the novacaine, it made my jaw lock up and i could only open it like half of an inch. Crazy dentists. Mine seriously said the same thing when he was yanking my teeth out; "You'll feel a little pressure." Oh please!!!! It didn't hurt where my tooth was, but it felt like my jaw was about to be ripped off! Anyways, enough of my complaining...trying to put the whole dreadful experience behind me. Haha.
