My opinion is; PvP servers. Lots of hard core players, people that actually want to play hard. PvE servers. People looking for raid progression or vanilla play. RP servers. Obviously, RPers, but I've always found it hard to find groups or raids. And their PvP pussies. RPPvP servers. Combination or hard core gamers, that can World and BG PvP, can raid, instance, and actually do more than sit around Goldshire humping pixels.
Yeah, come on over. I haven't gotten far. I have a 24 Druid on Venture Co. Thinking of making a NE hunter. On Emerald Dream I have a BE hunter in her 30s and a Troll Shaman in her 20s.
I started doing an Alliance 'lock on a PvP server. That was an experience. I never was able to get to the quest dude in the Barrens to finish the quest to get the Voidwalker. I was smacked around like the red headed step child over and over. Quite annoying. Other than that I had fun on the PvP server for most of my time on it
On the PvE server (where I am now), I've found it OK, much easier to level other than people killing quest givers periodically, which is not really that big a deal since they respawn quickly.
I was bored on the RP server in about 20 minutes. You had it dead right about pixel humping in Goldshire. Why bother?
I'm up for popping over and trying it out. Which server are you normally on? I can create something over there. I don't care if it is Alliance or Horde, though I would like to either do a Pally or a Hunter.
