OH. MY. GOD. Next week's episode looks fucking brilliant!
I really, really enjoyed this episode. Catherine Tate is such a brilliant actress. Bernard Cribbins is equally wonderful particularly in the moment when he's saluting his friend and they were talking about the labour camps.Speaking of which, this episode was deep. I'm not sure kids would have got half of it but it's a scary thought to see this version of how the world could be if something awful happened.
Something about this version of Rose unsettles me slightly. I love the fact she's back but she's not the same, I know she's older but she seems to know so much that I wonder if there isn't something else going on here. I want to know how she's getting everywhere.
I want to know what Donna is. There's something odd going on there as well. Who is she really?
I loved how each character from the universe was brought in somehow, and how they all died without the Doctor being about to stop things. I kind of love that Torchwood and Sarah Jane were trying to prevent these things from happening and the fact that Martha died saving someone's life too.
My brain is still whirling from next week's preview so I can barely think straight on what I want to talk about. I felt sad when I saw the TARDIS all dark. I actually said 'Oh no, she's dead!' before Rose mentioned she was dying.
BAD WOLF! I knew it! Lets watch as Bad Wolf graffiti appears everywhere once more...
(And as someone suggested to me - bet the Doctor is slightly annoyed that his TARDIS now says Bad Wolf aaaall over it.)
Next Week:
Jack! Sarah Jane! Martha! Gwen! Ianto! AHH!
(Who is Jack hugging when he says there's nothing they can do?)
