My week in review...

Last weekend I weighed myself and I'm 'finally' under 190 lbs!!! I weighed in at 189.4 lbs. So, I'm 'still' dropping. I attended Zumba 3x's last week (if not for my period I would have done more), and this week I've already gone 2x's now..yesterday there wasn't any Zumba, I'll be going tonight and should be going tomorrow, too

leather tooling (and it's very zen and addictive).

when i tent alone I use a carabiner that fits through the zipper pulls and link the pulls together from the inside. I also use a pee bottle and freshette so I don't have to bleary-eye pee in the dark, leaving myself vunerable. (also, maglite flashlight and carefully stashed blades)

Ah yes, tooling. When I posted earlier I hadn't eaten anything yet so my brain was strike 'till it got some food. *chuckles

carabiner over lock so you can get out if there is an emergency; if you do it on the *inside* it cannot be undone from the outside-- i have friends that would put their toddler to nap in the tent and carabiner it from the outside.

if you do think of the pee bottle, i heavily endorse the freshette lady urinal (it's a pee funnel)

by blades, i mean daggers and pocketknives in easy reach. I'm blind as a bat without my contacts or glasses, so my main defense if attacked in the night is to flail with sharp things.

Ok...I'll grab a carabiner from work...need to pick up a good sized pocket knife then, and I think we have a urinal thingy here that I could use from my mom and her late hubby's camping trips.

I hope this turns out to be an enjoyable event and something I'll be doing again and again...othewise, I'm wasting alot of money on this.:/

I wonder if I should get a whistle or something...to get attention should someone try to get into my tent...

Damn, I'm wishing I had one of my tapestries that I could hang on the inside of the tent for further (visual) privacy. From the way the tent looks on the box, you tie your privacy tent flaps from outside of your zippered mesh bit. That's not cool in my opinion...I'll have to look around for something that could act as a privacy curtain...
