It seems that JetBlue recently changes their bookings policy - they used to only issue tickets for six months out from the current date. Luckily, I did find this out more then six months before a certain wedding has me on the east coast, but not soon enough to get convenient frequent flyer passes within a week of the 4th of July ( Read more... )

sol3 and I have survived the last bit of holiday travel for 2007. Getting to Flagstaff was a bit more nerve-wrecking then expected, as US Airways screwed up the checkin process and the security staff were extra curious about sol3's cameras on the Oakland side, and then our luggage took over a half hour to come out on the Arizona side, but I managed to do ( Read more... )

sol3 and I finally got home around midnight last night, after our first two flights out of Boston were canceled. And I consider this to be lucky, because the nice lady on the phone gave us the last two seats on the 6pm flight out, as the desk was trying to put us on a flight today that was already 20 people overbooked ( Read more... )

Not only is my flight delayed by two hours, but they're playing christmas music in the airport. Security announcements have never sounded so good before.

For the first time in a long time (too long!), I got inspired while walking through the grocery store: today's dinner was asparagus, broccoli and crimini mushrooms in a cream sauce, over brown rice penne.
