Bought the game and an HDMI cable yesterday. WOW what a difference that cable made! I crank it up to 1080p, put in the game, and watch the little credits demo thing--and find myself giggling by the end of it when the big title logo comes up. It was pure eye candy. I've gotten to where I enjoy the combat, too. It gets repetitive often--X,x,x,x,x,x,x... And then when you know you've got an enemy beat, but it takes 10 more minutes just to wear its health down. Otherwise, the AI's decent, and the paradigms are almost fun. I know that will change once I have access to more characters at one time. But for now, it's pretty fun ( ... )
