I'm putting the fire on my Christmas list because it does internet, movies, and a lot more things than just a regular nook or kindle. So you can read books, check your e-mail, all of that. It's sort-of like an i-pad, in a way.

A lot of people are trying to compare it to an iPad. I'm really turning toward getting one, because I want to read my digital books in color so badly :) That and it's like $50 cheaper than the Nook!
