So, today, I went to an autocross held by VMSC. First time for everything, y'see. It only took zeroband about a year of poking to get me to do it... and really, this was partly because I wanted something to do away from the computers and cptwinky was working. It's not as expensive as you think. You can pick up an old shitbox and race in the lowest class. How funny would it be if you won a race in a T1000? :)

Your Integra would do just fine, as long as you fixed the windshield (a cost that I assume you're avoiding right now). The only other thing you'd really need is a good, sturdy helmet.

But, don't worry about perfectionism. Everybody gets to walk around the course, and a free run to get used to it. You'll have it straight by your third "real" run, for sure. Most AX courses are designed so that not having a stick won't take you out of the running. Maybe this one looked a little too twisty, but they're usually OK for automatics.

Why not go for it? :)
