Books: "Shattered"

Last night, I finally finished Dick Francis' "Shattered". While calendar days show this one as taking a long while to read, that's mostly because I kept putting it down for weeks on end to do things or forgetting that it was in my car. It was a fairly enjoyable read and a nice change of pace, since the last time I read mysteries, I was a teenager

I remember reading it - he used to be fairly prolifi and some of his stuff is top class. I don;t remember anything from the content, so this an;t have been one of them. If you appetite is whethered for Thirllers, have you read any Christopher Brookmyre? The two of his I've read were both excellent.

I haven't read any of his books. I'll have to put that one in my list of "to be read" to see if I like those.

This one was so-so and from what I read online, it didn't get reviews that were all that great. Some reviews said to try his older stuff. I might have to try one of the older ones as well.
