After a night of fun on FFXI, I figured I'd check on LJ... and then rememebered that I had thought this quizzie thing that lazygarden had taken looked interesting. So... I bothered.

Last night, I got to finish Ben Bova's Venus. This book was a rather quick and interesting read for all the actual science that Bova goes into on what we do know of Venus, then extrapolating out to what we might actually find should we probe into what's there. I had joked with one friend that I would start blogging (I guess that would be journalling, here) the craziness of dealing with recruiters and the strange things I get sent. Today brings us a new joy in problems with recruiters. It is already a problem that a lot of recruiter jobs have been off-shored as it appears that most of them are not given an adequate understanding of how large states are in the US. Today, we get one more for Boston -- may even be the same one. Two for Richmond -- one however being a Contract, the other being for a company I'm not keen on working for. So I'm thinking I might start a daily tally of the locations of jobs that recruiters send me. keep in mind that my resume notes that the only viable locations are Richmond, VA and, if people want to relocate me at their expense, Raleigh/Durham, NC or anywhere in TN with only 20-25 miles as a max commute.
