Now I can compare my uterus to a fantastic far away land! A dark and malevolent spire of metal has been placed in this once fertile land, transforming it into a barren wasteland unfit for human life!
Quite uncomfortable. I swore a lot. I was mostly uncomfortable from the having to be jacked open part. Quick minor pain to insert and here we are no2! It was over relative quickly. :D No issues so far. Little gross that they have to insert it during the period but It wasn't so bad. They gave me some pills to "soften my cervix" to increase the chances of it fitting properly. So far... *thumbs up!* :D
So the doc didn't push you towards Mirena instead yah? I am thinking the copper one is preferable too, but I haven't had time to talk to anyone about it yet.
He recommended it, but I told em I wanted paragard. It also lasts longer than Mirena. Mirena is 5 years and paragard is 10. Even if I only leave it in for 3 years or so I'm still saving more money than if I were shelling out $15 a month for hormonal birthcontrol that makes me crazy sauce.
